Identifying Your Child's Sports Gear

How do you identify your child's gear, especially their baseballs, soccer balls or footballs? Do you write their full name? Their first name?

A stranger is often closer to gaining the confidence of a child if they know that child's first name. And they can get if very easily if they can read it off the ball the child is carrying or is retrieving from the woods where it was kicked.

Don't give a stanger an unfair advantage of gaining the confidence of your child. Put his/her initials instead of a full or partial name.
