Water Water Everywhere?

The other night in 89 degree weather, 3 children on my baseball team showed up without any water to drink during the game. Their parents forgot!

I gave them my extras but as we approach the really hot parts of summer, water bottles for the whole family should be the last thing you pull out of the refrigerator when you're going to an outdoor activity.

As an adult, are you drinking 32 oz of water/day? You need hydration too. A person runs the risk of heat stroke if they don't hydrate before, during and after activities. And yes, Gatorade will hydrate well (and it tastes better too. It just can create havoc with teeth).
